Camper vans fit under far more structures than any other RV — which is exactly why owners stop measuring, and then discover the roof rack does not clear.
Whatever was added to the roof
A stock high-roof van is tall but manageable, and often fits under structures that would never accommodate a motorhome. The height problem with camper vans is almost never the van — it is the additions. Roof racks, fan vents, solar arrays, air conditioners, awning rails, and antenna mounts all stack on top of the factory roofline.
Because van conversions are so individual, there is no useful category figure. A converted van can be a foot taller than an identical van beside it. Measure yours specifically.
Short enough for standard structures
Most camper vans fall within lengths that standard carport configurations handle comfortably, so length is rarely the binding constraint. Rear-mounted items — a spare tire carrier, a bike rack, a box on the hitch receiver — are the main additions to account for.
Sliding door access matters more than the width itself
The van is narrow, but a camper van is typically used with the sliding door open and often with an awning deployed. If the point of the structure is to give you usable covered space beside the van rather than simply to cover the van, size for that use rather than for the vehicle.

Every figure below is something you can establish with a tape measure and twenty minutes. None of it can be safely inferred from a model number.

Nominal size is not usable clearance
Whatever figures you arrive at, remember what they describe. The numbers above are the space your vehicle needs — the usable opening you must be able to drive into. Carports are advertised at nominal frame dimensions measured to the outside of the structure, and the legs, base rails, and corner braces all intrude on that opening.
This means the structure you order should be nominally larger than the clearance you calculated. How much larger depends on the specific frame, which is why the last step before ordering is always to confirm the clear opening against the manufacturer drawings rather than the listing headline.
