Advertising and affiliate disclosures
How this site is funded, how any product recommendation is chosen, and why a commission never changes what we tell you.
Current status
CamperCarports.com has joined the Awin affiliate network. This means that when a participating retailer offers a product we can honestly recommend, a link to it may be an affiliate link, and we may earn a commission if you buy through it.
At present there are no eligible products live on the site, so there are currently no affiliate links to click. When eligible products appear in the Size Finder, they will carry a clear disclosure right beside them, and the commercial nature of any buy link will be obvious. We would rather show you an honest empty result than a product we cannot tie to a real, available listing.
How products are selected
A product can only appear as a recommendation if it comes from an advertiser programme we have actually been approved for and if its data comes from that advertiser’s current product feed. We do not build product listings by hand, we do not reconstruct tracking links, and we never show a product from a programme that is pending, declined, or inactive.
Recommendations are ordered by how well a structure’s usable clearance fits the target envelope you calculated — not by what any retailer pays. A commission rate is not an input to the ranking, so a better-paying product can never outrank a better-fitting one. Where a required dimension cannot be compared confidently, the product is flagged for verification rather than presented as a confirmed match.
What "recommended" means, and what it does not
We have not physically tested these products. A recommendation is a dimensional-fit and eligibility judgement based on the retailer’s own feed data, not a hands-on review, and we do not publish star ratings, testimonials, or "best" labels we cannot support.
Feed prices and availability can lag reality: a price or stock status shown here may have changed at the retailer since the feed was last refreshed, and a structure’s advertised (nominal) outside dimensions are not the same as its usable clearance. Always confirm the current price, availability, and the clear opening dimensions with the retailer or manufacturer before you buy.
What compensation will never change
A commercial relationship does not determine our sizing guidance, our safety caveats, or whether we tell you that a cheaper option — or no purchase at all — is adequate for your situation. If we ever could not say something because of a commercial relationship, we would decline to publish on that topic rather than publish something compromised.
If you find a product recommendation that looks wrong — a dimension that does not match the retailer, a broken link, a product that should not qualify — tell us through the contact page and we will correct or remove it.
