Planning tools are estimates
The Size Finder and other tools on this site produce planning estimates based on the information you enter and on conservative default allowances. They do not constitute engineering approval, structural certification, wind or snow load certification, zoning or permit approval, or manufacturer approval.
You remain responsible for verifying dimensions against the specific product documentation and for confirming regulatory requirements with your local authority before purchasing or building.
Accuracy
We take reasonable care over what is published here and correct errors when we find them or when they are reported. We cannot guarantee that every statement is accurate for every product, jurisdiction, or moment in time, because manufacturer specifications and local requirements both change.
